Hi,

We use simples list to keep track of what Applications we have on offer for staff.

Managing the list is a simple task and we are hoping to pass it down to one of our support officers.

What we are looking to do is give the user the rights to update the list but not a lot more. What roles provides simple list management access?

You could create a custom role that contains these rights

  • Manage Lists
  • Add Lists
  • Delete Lists
  • Update Lists

Only want the user to be able to make changes you should be able to just give them 

  • Manage Lists
  • Update Lists

It is the Manage Lists right that gives visibility of the Simple Lists under each application.  You can then include the other rights, depending on what you would like them to be able to do.  Make sure you select the application from the Configuration in order to select the Simple Lists associated to the particular app.
