Using a data query in a customable node in IC

Hi

I am trying to use a customised node in an IC to allow users to pick from a list we have in our CMDB. I don't want to use the asset form for this for a few reasons.

When I set the node up to give me a drop down filtered by the asset type I only get about 20 to choose from when I run it. So it goes as far as "B" in the list roughly 
Is there a limit to the amount of entry's a dynamic data query produces? Is it a setting somewhere which I can increase?
