Alisha
Hello, When using the external authorisation node, we would like to send the email to two email addresses. Please could we have a CC field for this? Or have the ability to use two email addresses in the To field? Is there another way to do this apart from using two separate external authorisation nodes please? Many thanks, Alisha
James Ainsworth
Hi Alisha, Thanks for your post. The External Authorisation automation is designed for a single authoriser. There is no logic that would managed multiple responses for a single external authorisation. The standard authorisations do allow for this, where multiple users can be included and each user allocated a weighting level against the authorisation to determine if you only need one person to respond, more than one, or all to complete the authorisation. BobbyB
@James Ainsworth @Alisha Thanks for your reply. We require authorisations but not from a named individual (authorisations will be on a rota) so the emails are going to either a distribution group or Teams channel. Yes, the way you have it setup for individual users works very well with the weighting and we use that for our Changes process. Unfortunately for this particular scenario, we can't send authorisations to a named individual, thus we'd like to be able to have a secondary email address to send to. Setting it up this way also helps if someone is on leave.
