Ann-MarieHolloway Posted May 16, 2022 Posted May 16, 2022 Good Morning, I have recently moved teams within my organisation and changed my level of access to 'Manager' on my new Team, however the only view I have in Timesheets Overview are my old Teams. Is there a way to update my overview? Many Thanks all,
James Ainsworth Posted May 16, 2022 Posted May 16, 2022 Hi @Ann-MarieHolloway You will need to go into the Timesheet Manager Configuration and change which teams you have visibility of. 1
Ann-MarieHolloway Posted May 18, 2022 Author Posted May 18, 2022 Hi @James Ainsworth Thank you for getting back to me. I see where my issue is is there a setting to add the Visibility section to Timesheet Manager?
AlexTumber Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 Hi @Ann-MarieHolloway, In order to manage visibilities, you need the Timesheet Administrator role. Alex 1
Ann-MarieHolloway Posted May 18, 2022 Author Posted May 18, 2022 @AlexTumber my apologies for another daft question, but I now have access to the Visibility and Teams/Co Workers however I am in the wrong teams. Is there anything I can do to allow me to see different teams?
AlexTumber Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 @Ann-MarieHolloway no worries. The visibility section in the timesheet manager admin settings allows you to configure which individuals can view other individuals timesheets and which individuals can view other teams timesheets. So in this example, Sonia can see the timesheets of Brian, Daniel, Dun, Graham, James, Pablo, Peter, Pierre and Rosemary (Greg can see Sonia's Timesheet too) Sonia can also see the timesheets for the following teams: (Service Desk, 2nd Line Support, 3rd Line Support) Alex
Ann-MarieHolloway Posted May 18, 2022 Author Posted May 18, 2022 Thank you @AlexTumber, So if I were to leave Service Desk and now want to see 2nd Line Support, how would I add that view?
AlexTumber Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 @Ann-MarieHolloway no worries. So you need to search for and find the visibility record where you have visibility over the service desk and delete it by clicking the delete icon on the right and confirming in the popup Then you need to add the new record (second line support) by clicking the plus icon, top right. Selecting yourself, and the Second Line Support team Alex
Ann-MarieHolloway Posted May 18, 2022 Author Posted May 18, 2022 Ah, I was on the right path then @AlexTumber, however I don't have the option to select a Team I may be missing a permission somewhere?
James Ainsworth Posted May 18, 2022 Posted May 18, 2022 Hi @Ann-MarieHolloway I also don't have the team field being displayed. This is possibly a UI issue and not to do with permissions. I'll feed this back to development. 2
Ann-MarieHolloway Posted May 19, 2022 Author Posted May 19, 2022 Thank you @James Ainsworth And thank you @AlexTumber for the tutorial 1
AlexTumber Posted May 19, 2022 Posted May 19, 2022 @Ann-MarieHolloway @James Ainsworth this issue has been fixed in the next Timesheet Manager update which is due very soon. Alex 1
