Rookie error? Why is the time I input not showing on the totals and my timesheet?

I created a test flow and Activity with the mandated time recording. I completed the Activity and record 3 hours.

While it does show on the Activity history (yellow), it does not show on the Total for the ticket or it's drill-down (green) or on the My Timesheet view (blue). Am I missing something?

I expected to see the 3 hours appear in all three places. I have all 3 TimesheetManager Roles.

It won't. Timesheet Manager does not work with time spent on human tasks. Time spent on a task is recorded in Timesheet Manager when the "Record Time" button is used, TM does not work with the "default" time spent option on tasks...

Ah, that explains it; at it suits me because I wanted time recording by Service not by workflow :-)

But it's a bit weird. What's the rationale for having two different ways of recording time?!

@Berto2002 you can have tasks without Timesheet Manager... afterall TM is an app that you might or might not user, have or not have it installed in your instance...
