KrisReynolds Posted April 27, 2022 Posted April 27, 2022 Would it be possible to get some changes made to dark mode to make it a little more usable? Items in lists display as black text which is unreadable until hovered over In the progress bar, green text is hard to read on the dark background Highlighted cases are very bright Service level info seems to have a light background but the resolution date is difficult to read 1
James Ainsworth Posted April 28, 2022 Posted April 28, 2022 Hi @KrisReynolds Thanks for your post. These have been mentioned to the development team who will have a look to see what they can provide. 1
Daniel Posted May 4, 2022 Posted May 4, 2022 Hi @James Ainsworth, could the development team have a look at Business Processes page too please? thanks
Llyr Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 Hi, We have the same concerns with Dark Mode, what is the latest with this. Thanks
James Ainsworth Posted June 14, 2022 Posted June 14, 2022 Hi @Llyr We are continuing to work with not only Dark Mode, but also a High Contrast Mode. You should now see on your profile menu, an option to switch between themes, which includes the three options, Light, Dark, High Contrast. We are aware that there are still some places need updating to allow the themes to be applied. This is on-going work and you should continue to see these areas being updated over time. 1
Llyr Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 Hi, Some of our staff have issues with the colours in the Dark mode, are we able to change these on a corporate level or personal level?
James Ainsworth Posted June 15, 2022 Posted June 15, 2022 Hi @Llyr Custom colours for Dark Mode are not currently available. It is likely that the areas such as you originally reported are worked through first to assure that all forms have a base starting point. In the future it is possible custom themes will be considered. 1
Daniel Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 any updates on dark mode improvements please? Thanks Daniel
James Ainsworth Posted October 18, 2022 Posted October 18, 2022 Hi @Daniel Could you specify if you have a particular area that you are referring to? There have been several updates to different areas regarding dark mode. I can't say at the moment if any the ones mentioned above have been looked at or not. Sometimes it can be helpful to post each area where you see an issue as a new individual topics on the forum.
Daniel Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Hi @James Ainsworth, request page, column on the right where "service Level" section is: request page, top of the page where you can update a call: Intelligent Capture when you double-click any node: Business Process, double-click node and go to any drop-down list:
James Ainsworth Posted October 20, 2022 Posted October 20, 2022 Thanks @Daniel. I'll feed this back to the development team and let you know if there are any updates about these particular areas. 1
James Ainsworth Posted October 24, 2022 Posted October 24, 2022 Hi @Daniel I believe that at lease a couple of these has already been done. They have just been waiting for a release. Keep an eye open over the next few updates. As mentioned before, these are continually being worked on and you should see the approvements over time. 1
LifeOfJonny Posted November 28, 2022 Posted November 28, 2022 Any updates on this? Some examples of what I would change below but the drop-down options for things like Analyst need fixing as the names are barely readable. I thought the dark theme was still classed as experimental but can't see any mention of that now on the UI. Better row highlighted colour // servicemanager.css .use-dark-mode .sm-requests-list .requestlist-row .is-customer-updated-1 { background-color: #065599 !important } // <style> .sm-requests-list .requestlist-row .is-customer-updated-1 { background-color: #065599 !important } Fix SLA .use-dark-mode .request-stats { background: transparent !important; } .use-dark-mode .request-stats-sla { background: transparent !important; } odd white border on comment buttons .use-dark-mode .btn-as-action { border-color: grey !important; } 2
