'Set as Home Organisation' in LDAP import

I'm struggling to get our LDAP import to set a Home Organisation using the LDAP Import tool

Although the create (or updated) user is added to the organisation as a member, it is not automatically setting that org as the users' Home Organisation.

Am I missing anything?!

Quick update on this:

It seems that the INITIAL import doesn't set the Home Organisation, but a consequent import (which will be an update) DOES set it.
