Ann Posted February 24, 2022 Posted February 24, 2022 Afternoon All Hope you are safe and well. Please would it be possible to help/advise? When you @ someone it creates a notification to say they have been @’d … this works in service manager and project manager I believe. Is it possible for the individual to be emailed if they are @’d ? I can’t see the setting in the user notification settings. Thank you. Kind Regards Ann
James Ainsworth Posted February 24, 2022 Posted February 24, 2022 Hi @Ann @ mentions only produce a Hornbill Notification and there isn't currently an option to include an email notification. One could install the Hornbill Mobile app under which you would receive these notifications on your mobile device when you are not logged into Hornbill.
Ann Posted February 25, 2022 Author Posted February 25, 2022 Morning James Hope you are safe and well. Thank you that is fantastic. Would there be the possibility of an email in the future do you know please? Kind Regards Ann
Smurfy Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 Hi @James Ainsworth When I @ myself in a update on a call I don't get a hornbill notification. (I have been trying to make this work for us for a while) Is there a setting I've missed somewhere?
Steve Giller Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 @Smurfy If you @ yourself you won't get an update, as the system assumes you already know what you've posted.
Smurfy Posted February 25, 2022 Posted February 25, 2022 Ok I will have another go with someone else - thanks
