Security Settings a main roles with sub roles

Hello,

Just wondering if anyone knows if with the user settings under security settings you can create one role that has all the roles needed as per screenshot. Instead of manually inputting the roles in for multiple members to be able to just assign one role with all of them attached would be easier. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

@PeterL The short answer is that you can't.

Bearing in mind that the screenshot above includes both Super User and Admin Roles creating a single Role incorporating all of those would leave every part of your system completely open to every User on it - which is a rather extreme but very pertinent example of why Roles are separated out.

We do have User Templates which can apply multiple Roles at once, and there are various Import Tools which also allow this.

@Steve GillerThanks it was more for general roles, not all the ones above. I shall take a look at the templates.

@PeterL a bit confusing given you did specify the roles in the screenshot
