Guest Paul Alexander Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 We have a few requests with quite a lot of detail in the activities. When these Activities are 'live' they take up a lot of space in the request. Is it possible to have an option to shrink these activities so that just the title shows please? The rest of the info will obviously show when the activity is opened, but having just the title showing would help the analyst to see what still needs doing in these requests - especially if there are a lot of parallel activities (which we do have, especially on our Leavers requests). thanks
James Ainsworth Posted January 21, 2022 Posted January 21, 2022 I agree that the description could be minimized, but if the assignment and time are not displayed along with the title, then everyone would have to expand each task to get an idea of who it is for, and when is it needed. If each activity card was the size of the one in this image, would that be suitable?
Guest Paul Alexander Posted January 24, 2022 Posted January 24, 2022 Hi @James Ainsworth Yes, that would work perfectly I think. I agree that assignment and time would both be worth keeping in the display. thanks
Claire B Posted February 7, 2022 Posted February 7, 2022 @James Ainsworth Hi James - I've been asked to produce a report listing changes with assigned Activities - can you let me know which table the activities can be found in? TIA, Claire.
James Ainsworth Posted February 8, 2022 Posted February 8, 2022 Hi @Claire B Activities can be found in the table h_sys_tasks. The field h_obj_ref_urn (Object Reference URN) will contain the reference ID for the request that they are linked to. I hope that helps.
Berto2002 Posted February 16, 2022 Posted February 16, 2022 Yes please: +1 [and please ensure the Team and/or Owner are shown on the rollup; and what text shows on the rolled-up version] 1

If it is possible to build this in could this be an option where an individual can choose if they want them collapse or not.
Berto2002 Posted February 18, 2022 Posted February 18, 2022 We discussed this also and we would like an option to have the Buttons showing or not on the collapsed version so an established process where agents don't need to read all the text each time, they will just see the title, owner and actions they can take. Very powerful.
James Ainsworth Posted February 21, 2022 Posted February 21, 2022 A "Show More" and "Show Less" option has been added to each activity displayed within a request. When description exceed 3 lines a "Show more" option is displayed which will expand to show the full description of the activity. This should be available in the coming weeks. Regards, James
Smurfy Posted February 22, 2022 Posted February 22, 2022 Thanks for this James. I have some people who would always like them expanded and some not Is there a possibility something could be added as a setting in each persons profile so they can choose their default display?
James Ainsworth Posted February 22, 2022 Posted February 22, 2022 Hi @Smurfy At the moment it will show the first 3 lines of the description along with the other information such as the title, assignee, and time. The majority of information will still be visible without clicking on anything. Adding per-user settings adds a fair bit of complexity and probably would have postponed this requirement being implemented, so it won't be available as part of this update.
