Good afternoon,

Please can I request for the "Customer Type" be added to the Rules for the Custom Buttons against Requests.

I would like to be able to define whether a button is showing or not based on whether the Customer is a "Co-Worker" or "Contact".

Thanks,

Samuel

Hi @samwoo @Martyn Houghton

I've added the Customer Type as one of the fields available in the custom button show filtering, you'll need to check for the values 0 for Co-workers and 1 for Contacts.

This should be available in the next Service Manager update.

Kind Regards,

Dave.

That's David for doing this so quickly

HI,

Slightly similar request I believe, with Custom Buttons it would be good to be able to add HTML mailto as a link.

e.g. you could click Custom Button A and it would open the email client (Outlook for example) with the To address already filled in. This would look like mailto:TEST@TESTMAIL.com?subject=This is a test

Is this possible to be added please?

Hope this helps.

Thanks @James Ainsworth - all works!

0 = Customer
1 = Contact

Just noticed this message @will.good - you can already set up a Custom Button to generate an email.  Use this expression to try it out:

mailto://[[customerEmailAddress]]?subject=[[[h_pk_reference]]] [[h_summary]]

It works
