Custom Fields Reporting and Visibility

I have noticed I can't perform custom searches/views/reports against custom fields 31-40. They only seem to be avaiable for us within BPM's. Is there any particular reason for this?

Also is there a feature (and if not could there be) where I can easily see what custom fields I have used within a BPM. It would be nice to see at a glance what custom fields have been set without having to check each Hornbill Automations.

Custom 31 - Custom 40 are Text fields and can hold (effectively) unlimited amounts of data, so they are excluded from actions where this would cause issues, e.g. Views.

There isn't a magic "Show me what I've used" button, I'm afraid.
The best suggestion I could give, having seen a number of Customers utilise this, would be to add Stage Notes to list the Variables used - this also gives you the option of adding comments about what it's used for, and where if required.

Once you have data in these fields you can report against these as per below - need h_itsm_requests_extended added as a join in your reports
