New Update: Service Manager (2402)

Hello everyone,

The latest update of Service Manager (2402) has been released to live.

The change log for this update is as follows:

  • New Hornbill Automation 'Requests > Authorisation Decision > Clear' to clear the approved/rejected decision on a Request. - See more on the wiki https://wiki.hornbill.com/index.php?title=Service_Manager_Business_Process_Workflow#Requests
  • Enhanced the table 'h_itsm_request_team_assignment' with a new column called 'h_assignment_by' to record the person who performed the assignment action.
  • Deprecated APIs have now been removed. The removed APIs are: Asset::updateAsset, AssetsBasic::updateAssetBasic, AssetsComputerPeripheral::updateAssetComputerPeripheral, AssetsComputer::updateAssetComputer, AssetsMobileDevice::updateAssetMobileDevice, AssetsNetworkDevice::updateAssetNetworkDevice, AssetsPrinter::updateAssetPrinter, AssetsSoftware::updateAssetSoftware, AssetsTelecoms::updateAssetTelecoms, Charts::smReorderCharts, Faqs::updateFaqViewCount, GenericFilter::smGetCustomFilters, Requests::getLinkedRequestsForClosure, Requests::getLinkedRequestsForResolution, Requests::guestAttachFile, Requests::guestAttachFileFromSession, Requests::guestCanViewRequest, Requests::guestGetFileAttachmentInfo, Requests::guestLogRequest, Requests::lookupCustomerEmail, Requests::smGetDetails, Requests::smGetReqDetails, Requests::updateTimeline, Services::deleteService, Services::smCreateService, Services::smSelfServiceGetService, Requests::addQuestions and RequestTimers::guestAddRequestTimer.

  • Questions marked as mandatory are not enforced. {PM00169561}
  • Reference field in the Requests list to cater for longer references. {PM00169456}
  • The Resolution Timer could be incorrectly marked as breached when using the pause timer functionality on resolution. {PM00169503}
  • Error in 'Requests > Get Request Information > Progressive Capture Answers' Hornbill Automation when the field answer contains a JSON object. {PM00169376}
  • No loading indicator or error reporting in the assets list. {PM00169202}
  • New asset images are not displayed within the progressive capture on the Employee Portal. {PM00169257}
  • FAQ images are not displayed in the Knowledge Centre within the progressive capture. {PM00168972}
  • Service drop-down in the request Global Search is not sorted alphabetically. {PM00169168}
