Increase character limit of Short Description

Hello,

We are using Wiki text in the Short Description on our domain pages. Please could the character limit be increased so that we can use a couple of links here?

We know we can use Wiki text in a Text Widget below, but we'd prefer to display these important links underneath the domain page name.

Hi @Alisha,

The Short Description is "short" for a reason. Increasing the size will potentially break the layout of the page. That's why we put a limit of 500 characters. Even 500 is too much as it looks very bad depending the size of your screen.

@Daniel Dekel Any chance of increasing the Bulletin character limit so we can use Wiki text in there? The Wiki text uses up a lot of characters even though we don't actually have a lot of text to display.

I'd like to add, since inserting an image into the bulletin is tricky to achieve a decent looking output, I have been using this method to be able to control the image better.

The downside to this is that it actually consumes available characters - but these are not displayed!

Kind of wonky don't you think?

Hi @Daniel Dekel,

Not sure if you increased the character limit already but if you have, is there any chance of increasing it again please? We just want to add another link there so the actual number of characters is very small but the Wiki text is long and doesn't fit unfortunately.

@Alisha Could you not use a URL shortener to reduce the required number of characters?
