Jeremy
So we have been exploring the 'Quick Request' logging and it appears that it doesn't work that well. Although you can set the parameters, when you actually come to use it it gets stuck at the 'Service Picker List'. I know that this is in 'Beta' but can this be looked into as this is something that could potentially save us a lot of time if it works as expected. Steve Giller
As far as I'm aware this is not going to be developed further, and if anything is more likely to be removed from the Product. We would recommend exploring whether you can use Progressive Capture to achieve what you need with Quick Requests.
Jeremy
It was a question that was raised as we wanted to be able to pre-fill some of the options e.g. service, priority etc but I will go back to the drawing board.
Steve Giller
Most things (although possibly not Service/CI/Request Type) can be prepopulated by using Custom Forms and either mapping the Fields or using the ProCap answers in the Business Process to update the Request. Victor
@Jeremy unfortunately, as Steve advised this functionality never made it past beta and it was eventually abandoned. When or while PCF grew, it started to incorporate more and more of the "quick log" functionality making redundant... it is only available in "older" instances created when the functionality was still available/usable. I would certainly look into achieving what you need using PCF functionality. At some point "Quick Log" functionality will be fully deprecated and removed from all instances.
