Data retain for creating Measures/ widget on the application

Hi,

How far back are the data retained on the application level?

I am trying to create a measure for count of ticket in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, to compare the increase of ticket logged from 2017 to 2021. I can only get data as far back as August 2020.

This is for 2019, but I get values from 01/08/2020.

Hi Joyce,

The maximum sample history coincides with the set frequency.  In the case of the screenshot, you have the sample history set to 13 which when based on the set frequency, this would take samples from the last 13 months.  This would explain why the results include values from the beginning of August 2020.  The Query where clause doesn't impact the sample history.  It will only filter down the results that are returned within the sample history.
