Creating a Custom Expression Rule.

Recommended Posts

Hi,

This might be a silly question,  but hopefully someone could help.... I'm looking to build a custom expression rule to apply in a Business Process, I have found the below wiki that describes how to create one but unfortunately it doesn't seem to advise where to find where the rules are located.

Could anyone help and advise where I can find the Custom Expression Builder?

Thanks in advance

Hi @Chris Rabbatts

The custom exspressions can be created on the exits of decision nodes:

The exits need something in there, whether it is based on the outcome of a task just before the decision, or based on the criteria within the ticket running against the process, something needs to be in there. To create a custom expression click on the above highlighted sections, and then select custom expresson in the drop down, like the below:

Hi Chris,

I've updated the wiki documentation to include a bit more detail about accessing the Custom Expression Builder.  Thanks for pointing this out.
