AndyHill Posted July 22, 2021 Posted July 22, 2021 We went live with our now Employee Portal on Monday and all our analysts appear to have access to the Page Manager and Design Mode buttons. Is there a specific permission to remove this? I can't have any analyst being able to change the page and need to ensure that this is tightly controlled.
Daniel Dekel Posted July 26, 2021 Posted July 26, 2021 Hi @AndyHill, That will show if the user is the owner of one or more domains. Is defined in the Administration, Service Domains. Regards, Daniel.
AndyHill Posted July 26, 2021 Author Posted July 26, 2021 @Daniel Dekel Thanks for the response. I am the only one with showing as an owner in the Service Domains yet other colleagues can still see and use those buttons.
AndyHill Posted August 16, 2021 Author Posted August 16, 2021 Just bumping this as has been quiet for a while. Can you advise why people who don't show as owner of a Service Domain are able to edit the new Portal Pages. I can't have people being able to edit them.
Daniel Dekel Posted August 17, 2021 Posted August 17, 2021 Hi @AndyHill, Can you make sure these users don't have the role "Home Page Manager" or the application rights canManagePage or canManageCompanyPages? Any of these could show the Edit button. Regards, Daniel.
AndyHill Posted August 17, 2021 Author Posted August 17, 2021 @Daniel Dekel I have checked the permissions and the analysts definitely don't have Home Page Manager. I have also checked all the custom roles and none include either of those application rights.
Guest Mary Posted August 18, 2021 Posted August 18, 2021 @AndyHillusers with Admin Role will have those buttons displayed.
