Martyn Houghton Posted June 10, 2021 Share Posted June 10, 2021 Over the years of using the system our organisation structure has grown and changed within Hornbill, with deeper and more complex structures. This has meant that organisation objects created originally where Teams at the time have now become parent departments with child teams. This has become more apparent with the new Admin Tool Organisation view. The current Admin Tool does not allow you to update the Organisation 'Type' field, so we are not able to alter the types of the existing organisation records and make full use of the Organisation view. By changing from a "team" to "department" would break those dependencies and I am assuming you want these parent teams, that are now departments, to retain those "team" features? Martyn Houghton Posted June 15, 2021 Author Share Posted June 15, 2021 @NeilWJ Yes, some of them are what you would refer to Sub Teams, where the parent is sometime used as a Team where the request is generic and sub teams of it for specific product area's.
