Hornbill ESP POP3 Read Failure

I am unsure if what I can post due to security but our Hornbill inbox is receiving an email every minute with the subject

"Hornbill ESP POP3 Read Failure"

There was a problem reading mail from the POP3 account:

Hi Jamie,

Have you tried running the Test Connection on your Shared Mailbox POP3 Service? This is found in Hornbill Admin under System->Email->Shared Mailboxes and then opening your shared mailbox and then click on the Inbound Mail Services tab.  You may find that something has changed on your mail server such as password or encryption and Hornbill can no longer communicate with the mail server.
