Alberto M
Hi all. Tried to find this, but no success. How can I filter a report by the current user - the user that is navigating Hornbill? I wanted to list the scheduled jobs but I don't want people to list scheduled jobs not owned by her/him. Thanks, Alberto

Lyonel
I don't think you can... Or certainly you couldn't when I was still using the platform. The "trick" I used was something like this: You can change the join to "Join" instead of left join if you want. Then when running a preview: Just created a sample for you on the demo site: https://admin.hornbill.com/demo/app/com.hornbill.servicemanager/reporting/91/ Just in case I also attached the definition. I LOVE THIS PLATFORM!!! I really miss it, it's so good! ttest.report.txt
Lyonel
@Alberto M note that you don't need to join tables. I only did because I wanted to pull the full name of the user
Alberto M
Thanks, @Lyonel! I'll give this a look more carefully later. (this platform misses you too so much )
Steve Giller
It would probably be better to have an idea of what you're trying to achieve here. It doesn't sound like a report is the best method for displaying the list of scheduled tasks to the User who owns them, I would expect them to view those in the Activities View. A report is usually created so that it runs automatically on a regular basis, in which case there would be no current user - it would be the system that is running it.
