Hi All,

I noticed last night when doing some prep work on our new Employee Portal that the bulletins / banners did not appear to work as expected. The 2 bulletins we have on our Service Portal are showing on the Employee Portal with no issues, but the time to swap between the 2 banners appears to have an issue in that both banners appear to be displayed for 1/2 second, so when viewing these on the portal the image just constantly swaps / flashes.

I could not see anywhere to set the time a banner is shown, and previously on the Service Portal it would just page through the banners showing each one say for 5 seconds, then moves to the next one. However, this seems to be missing / not working correctly on the banners on the Employee Portal.

Is anyone else seeing the same issue?

Many thanks

Hi All, I can now see the banners again on the portal, thank you for the prompt action.

However, the issue I describe above still appears to be appearing - the banners are flashing constantly and do not appear to be displaying how they do on the old Service Portal. Is anyone else seeing this at all please?

Thanks

Hi Dan, on the old portal the banners would cycle through display say for 5 seconds each, however when viewing these on our Employee Portal, this slow cycling is not appearing - the 2 banners we have constantly swap and are not cycling slowly for 5 seconds each (hope that makes sense)

Thanks

Hi Dan,

Ignore this post - we had the millisecond transition time set to 5, instead of 5000 - i think we just presumed this field was a second value, not milliseconds. updated it now and the banners are now cycling as expected in a slow mannered way :)

Many thanks as always
