Due date

Afternoon All

Hope you are safe and well on this chilly Friday afternoon.  Another question, I have been asked by a project manager why when they add a new task the date is reverting to a date way  in the past.  I tried adding a task to a project and the due date did not change, however when you change the "Counts Towards Milestone" on the task the due date reverts to the due date of the milestone rather than today's date.  Is this correct please?  Thank you.

Yes that is correct behaviour. If a task counts towards a milestone then the due date is automatically set to be that of the milestone it is associated to.
