Bug - Turn off bulletins in service pages

Recommended Posts

I’m having trouble getting the following setting to work (turn off the bulletin on services landing pages). Any Ideas?

ui.app.com.hornbill.servicemanager.serviceCatalog.bulletinsAsHeader
Toggle this setting for the Bulletins in the Serviice Catalog landing page to be displayed at the top of the page

The reason we want to do this is when there is no image the text is not cantered within this area.

Thanks

Chris

Hi @chrislord,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We can see that when a bulletin is configured without an image, the text is not centred when displayed in the Employee Portal hereby we have raised and assigned a bug report to the Development team. We will update you as soon as the fix is made available to your instance via a Service Manager update.

In the meantime, you can set the bulletin's status to '''Draft''' if you don't wish to display it in the Employee Portal. This can be achieved via Home tile > hover over the Service Manager tile > Service Portfolio sub-menu > locate the service that the bulletin is associated to and click to open it > Bulletins tab > Open the bulletin in question > click the "Draft" button > click on the "Update" button.

I hope this helps.

Hi @chrislord,

The setting is not in use within the Employee Portal. Unlike the Service Portal, the positioning and the visibility of the bulletins widget can be controlled within the Page Details area in the Employee Portal. Alternatively, the status of the bulletins that you wish to hide can be changed to "Draft" or "Retired".
