Alisha Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 Hello, I'm not sure if it's been requested before, but please could we request an enhancement to limit the Reports by Service and/or Organisation? We have lots of departments using our instance and it would be helpful if we could just see our own reports. Many thanks, Alisha
James Ainsworth Posted January 11, 2021 Posted January 11, 2021 HI Alisha, These reports, Are designed to respect the access of the requests based on Services and Teams. Would these reports have what you need?
Alisha Posted January 12, 2021 Author Posted January 12, 2021 Hi @James Ainsworth, The reports we are looking at are in admin.hornbill.com. Please could these reports be limited according to Service? Many thanks, Alisha 1

Would these reports have what you need? Hi James, We have a custom report which we want to give access to our Leadership. How could we do that? https://wiki.hornbill.com/index.php?title=Write_Efficient_Reports Showed us how to create the reports, though not how to publish it to a specific Role/User?group. We would prefer some users only log into live.horbill and not admin.hornbill https://wiki.hornbill.com/index.php?title=Reporting gave us a bit of an idea to use Dashboards, but that would involve a layer of difficulty for which we are not ready at this moment.
James Ainsworth Posted April 8, 2021 Posted April 8, 2021 Hi Daniella, On each Report in Admin, there is a tab for scheduling. At the bottom of this tab is an option for publishing. You can either email the report to the recipients or you can publish a report to Document Manager. Document Manager can be a nice way to deliver these.
Daniella R. Goral Posted April 13, 2021 Posted April 13, 2021 Thank you, James. We don't want to only send it to them, we want to enable them to get the data in real-time as they need it. Would it be possible to add such a report here:
James Ainsworth Posted April 14, 2021 Posted April 14, 2021 Hi Daniella, It sounds like you are looking for more of a dashboard. Reports are snapshots of a moment in time. The mentioned area of reporting in the screen shot above is controlled by access, meaning that you can only see and report on requests that you have access to. The same restrictions as one would see on the Request List. There are less features than in the Admin reporting to make it so that no SQL is needed to create a report, and making it easier for less technical users. I'm just not sure what report you are looking for, but the information presented will be limited to the Services that they support. 1
