Dave Longley Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 If there any option when we create an email template that the template can contain an attachment automatically? This would save my team having to add default attachments to emails which we want to get sent out.
Steve Giller Posted December 22, 2020 Posted December 22, 2020 I don't believe so. I've seen this suggested before so there may be an enhancement request around this. Can I suggest that if you're sending the same attachment over and over again that you consider using a link to it rather than attaching it? Not only will that achieve your aim of templating it, but means the document is stored once, rather than two or more copies being stored for each email that you send. There are a number of ways to do this, Hornbill's Document Manager would be my recommendation ...
Dave Longley Posted December 22, 2020 Author Posted December 22, 2020 Thanks @Steve Giller but not everyone will have access to Hornbill who will receive this email.
HGrigsby Posted March 18, 2021 Posted March 18, 2021 +1 for me too on this - it is exactly what I am trying to do, to send a blank Knowledgebase template from ticket when they are being asked to write one. Helen
