Time Spent not linking

Afternoon All

Hope you are safe and well.  We have been looking at "Time Spent" within the projects we currently have set up within Hornbill Project Manager.  We have found that from the timesheet button on the right hand side the time spent is linking to the project and to the individual's time sheet, however any time spent on a task is not adding to the total time of a project or an individual's time sheet.

We have also found that when looking at the time recording on the Project Settings icon on the side of the project, we are only able to see this if we created the project AND are set as a project manager.  If we did not create the project but are the project manager we are unable to see the time recording function.

Please would it be possible to advise on the above queries as this is urgent?  We have received a number of queries from our project managers on this matter.  Thank you.

@Ann thanks for your post.

The time on a project and on project tasks is currently separate and is something that we are actively working on to unify. I appreciate it's an inconvenience at the moment but hopefully that won't be for much longer. In the mean time I will contact you separately about getting the time values out of the system.

Only the PM has access to the info on the right hand side of each project. It shouldn't have anything to do with who's created the project or not - you may find that the person who can't see the time recording function doesn't have access to timesheet manager.

Afternoon Alex

Hope you are well.  We have completed some further testing on several projects regarding the Time recording on project settings and if we are project manager on a project but did not create the project we are not getting the Time recording icon.  However if we are the project manager and did create the project we are displaying the time recording icon.  Please would it be possible to advise or I am happy to show you how our results?  Thank you.
