Show some services without description

If you have services that you don't want to show a description of can you put a 0 in the description field as with other portal stuff you want empty?
We want descriptive texts on some but not all of our services.

I've given this a try and for me it displays a 0 unfortunately so not sure this can be accomplished with the current services and portal.

Would it be possible to implement the 0 or at least make description non-mandatory?

Hi HHH,

I just wanted to let you know that the mandatory flag for the description of a service has been removed.  This will be available as of the Service Manager build 2164.
