In the service portal, I have a request which requires an attachment, but, if I DO add an attachment (after first trying to press the 'finish button WITHOUT adding an attachment), the "Please Upload Attachment" error still shows:

This doesn't stop me from being able to log the request, but the error should disappear once an attachment is added I think?

thanks

Hi @Paul Alexander

Our developers have tried to replicate the issue that you mentioned, however, we weren't able to.

What we tried to do is the following:

  • Set Attachments form to mandatory
  • Press "Next" without adding an attachment - Cannot proceed, all good
  • Upload an Attachment
  • Press "Next" again, can proceed further now, without issues

Our team also tried adding the Attachments form right at the end of the form too and it worked fine too

Are you still able to replicate this issue, or have we missed any steps to replicate?

Thanks, Regards

Mohamed

HI @Mohamed

I did say that this DOESN'T stop me from logging the request, it's just a bit of a bug....

It's just the 'Please upload attachment' warning doesn't disappear even if an attachment is added AFTER trying to continue without adding an attachment.....

thanks

Hi @Paul Alexander

Just to let you know our development team has resolved the issue. Unfortunately the fix won't be included in the upcoming build, it will however, be in the latter

Hope that helps and hope you have a great weekend :)

Regards

Mohamed
