Jeremy
Is there a way to change/remove this logo? Also is there space on the landing page to add text? As we would like to add some text and a link to the landing page.
Giuseppe Iannacone
@Jeremy you can do some customization from here I don't think what you are asking for can be achieved, but i will let hornbill staff reply on this
TrevorHarris
Hi @Jeremy You cannot change the logo, but you can customise the login page under System > Security > manage Login. This will allow you to add about text and a footer as well as changing the main image. More details can be found here:https://wiki.hornbill.com/index.php?title=Manage_Login
Jeremy
With this text that you can add/change, it doesn't seem to support wiki formatting to add links etc. Would it be possible to allow us to enter links into this page in either the top text section or in the footer? Jeremy
would it be possible to allow wiki markup on this section of the landing page?
Steve Giller
Could you explain what you're trying to achieve with having the option for wiki markup and links on the login page? There would be a risk of breaking the layout so knowing what your goals are would help to establish if wiki markup is the best way to achieve them. Jeremy
@Steve Giller we currently have a landing page before the Employee Portal landing page, which houses our service status details and also we want to add a link to our remote support/chat pages as we cannot natively add our Bomgar popup to the Employee Portal landing page. We would ideally like this before people login as we deal with people with potential students that do not have usernames/password when they first contact us. Jeremy
So we have had more discussions internally and would like to do more with our landing page in Service Manager, as I mentioned before we have a landing page before the self-service portal which works well but think that it just adds another step in the way of the customer. However we think that there is currently wasted opportunities on the Hornbill self-service page as 80% of it is taken up by one image and there is little that you can do to add links/information etc publically to this page before people login. Would it be possible to expand the use of the portal configuration widgets to be able to use these on the landing page so that it can be richer and more engaging to customers and potential customers?
James Gallally
That would be great - I currently have information here by converting what I want to say as a picture and linking that there - but it is not interactive/have links etc so this would be a +1 from us.
