Default co-workers search

We use a search on one of our activities which should open up the 'co-workers' page in Service Manager. This is just a link to the Co-Workers search page with a users' pay roll number on it, which used to open up with a list of any co-worker (basic users included) so that we could then get more info from that page.

i THINK this has changed recently so that the search page now defaults to opening in the 'co-worker' section, rather than the 'all users' section, so, if the user we're searching for is a basic user, then they don't show in the first page.

 

 

 

Could there be a way to default this search to ALL users please?

Hi Paul,

I noticed the same thing the other week as i raised a panicked Issue to Hornbill, then realised it was just down to this change. I did ask if the default view could be something we can set, but not sure if this was picked up on as a possible change going forward - i will let one of the Hornbill team confirm

I think we should probably just make this a user setting that is remembered each time you change it, that way it will always be on the last filter you selected. I presume that would provide the solution?

@Paul Alexander this functionality was delivered in Core UI 1369 update (11/11/2020): "Co-Workers List - User Type filter is now persistent"

Are you saying this functionality is not working for your users?

Hi Victor, when I check this on our instance the default is still 'Co-Workers' rather than 'All' so still having to click on 'All' to search every record

If I do a search it defaults to Co-Workers:

 

 

If I then change that to show ALL workers:

 

 

And then go to another page (for instance the call queue), and then do ANOTHER search it defaults back to the Co-workers list:

This should be working in the next Core UI update scheduled for deployment later this week or early next week.
