h_name field in h_cmdb_assets_software is not long enough

Any chance that this can be increased, the current limit is 64 chars?

I have a number of software applications that are over 80 chars in length when attempting to import from SNOW License Manager.

Thanks for your post.

I have submitted a change request for this field to be changed to 128.  If it was just as simple as changing the size, it would be a quick exercise, but we also need to consider the UI where a longer field may break where the asset names are displayed.  

This change isn't currently scheduled, but I will post back here if I hear about any progress.

This change is nearing completion.  Provided all goes well, it will be included in the next Service Manager update which should take place in the next couple of weeks.

I just wanted to let you know that the h_name field has been increased to 128 characters.  This is now available in your environment.   Hope this helps.
