Activity Category option - which role?

Which role is required for a user to be able to see the 'Manage Categories' option in Activities please?

I have a user who can see the Manage Templates option, but not the Manage Categories one....

Hi @Mary

Thanks for that...although it seems a little excessive for what I want!! Is there any chance that I could ask for a 'separate' role which will only give access to change these activity categories please?

Hi @Paul Alexander,

The Category Manager is quite old and not really useful because you will can still add any category you want in an activity. 

 Any new category you add to a task will be automatically added as part of the suggested category in the next activity you create. In the future we'll be looking in to removing the Category Manager view.
