Dave Longley
We have built out a new Change management flow and have realised that the system allows the owner of the RFC (typically a person in the user role) to be able to approve their own change request. Is there any system settings to prevent this?
James Ainsworth
Hi Dave, I don't believe that there is anything that directly lets you control this. We do have a change in our backlog for something that sounds very similar. This change would to provide a BPM Automation that provides options such as excluding the owner of the change or the customer. I believe that we were also going to look at an option to exclude those that are on holiday. Does this sound like what you are looking for? Is your requirement just for use with the BPM?
