Employee Portal Timeout Setting

Further to the question above - is there a MAXIMUM timeout that can be set for this please? And is it the same setting for the Service portal? 

We've had quite a few people who have complained about not being able to complete a form (either because they get distracted halfway through or they need to go and find some extra info) so I'd like to max this timeout setting if possible please...

Hi @Paul Alexander,

The setting "communications.basicSessionIdleTimeout" is the maximum amount of time the session remains active. So that is the Max Timeout if that's your question.

No matter the client (Employee Portal or Service Portal) as long as that is a Basic User being logged in, it will use that setting.
