Jeremy Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 How do you create pages that are not linked to domains so that you can have private links etc hidden but accessible via a dedicated link?
Daniel Dekel Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 Hi @Jeremy, At the moment you can only create pages related to a domain. For example you can create a page 'HR Team' under 'HR' by providing the URL: https://live.hornbill.com/YOUR_INSTANCE/internal/catalog/hr/hr-team/ . But there isn't an option to create unrelated pages at the moment. This doesn't mean there won't be an option in the future, but at the moment this is a restriction. Regards, Daniel.
Jeremy Posted March 30, 2020 Author Posted March 30, 2020 @Daniel Dekel I thought that in the last Demo there was options to create pages not linked to domains.... I guess we set up a domain to put things in and then 'hide' from the portal view?
Daniel Dekel Posted March 30, 2020 Posted March 30, 2020 Hi @Jeremy, What we showed in the demo is a sub-page of an existing domain one. What you are saying of hiding the domain is a workaround but we never showed it in the demo. Daniel.
Jeremy Posted March 31, 2020 Author Posted March 31, 2020 @Daniel Dekel ah ok, are there instructions on how to create these sub-pages?
Daniel Dekel Posted March 31, 2020 Posted March 31, 2020 Hi @Jeremy, Is probably being explained right now in the Webinar. But if you can't see this... just switch to the URL (in the browser's address bar) the desired new URL:https://live.hornbill.com/danield3/internal/catalog/hr/test-3/ This will create a new page under HR called test-3 When you go there you will see a message asking if you want to create a new page in that location. Also, make sure you are an owner in that domain. We are working on a new pages manager view where all that will be much simple to manage. But for now, you can do it this way ;-) Daniel. 1
