Uploading Excel Files as Attachments

Good Morning,

 

Our Hornbill service isn't uploading an excel workbook which is password protected and has macros as an attachment. Are you aware of this restriction and is there any way around it? 

 

"Error: a problem occurred uploading the file (Error code: 0)"

Hi Philippa,

There are a number of places within Service Manager and other Hornbill Applications where you can upload files.  Can you let us know where you are uploading this file?

Within the System Settings in Administration there are some settings that restrict which file types you can't upload. In this image you can see the defaults that can't be uploaded.  These are the only restrictions that apply.
