Alisha
Hello, Customers are receiving automated emails when they update their request via email. Is this a recent setting that has been switched on? If so, how can we switch it off please? The email states: "This is an automated system message to inform you that your Hornbill request has been successfully updated". We notice that the templates in our instance have been created and updated on 13-02-2020 10:58. Many thanks, Alisha
Adrian Simpkins
Hi Alisha, I think it might be this setting : app.email.routing.rules.emailConfirmation.updateRequest.sendConfirmationEmail This is turned to Off in our configuration in the Hornbill Service Manager / Settings. Thanks
Steve Giller
@Alisha Adrian is correct, that setting and its "relative" app.email.routing.rules.emailConfirmation.newRequest.sendConfirmationEmail are set to Off in a default configuration. If you do wish for these updates to go out but not with a generic email the templates are specified on the following settings:
Alisha
Hi @Steve Giller, Thank you for the settings, we will get that updated. Do you know why this was switched on as we never had this before? Many thanks, Alisha
Steve Giller
Hi @Alisha - none of these settings have been changed in recent updates from the Hornbill side.
