ITOM Options

Hi Team

We are looking at process Automation and think the ITOM Active Directory Libraries would really help us.

Is there likely to be any long term cost implication of us using ITOM without using asset discovery??

We are just finalising the initial GA and part of that is working out a pricing model based on our market research and customer feedback, I will contact you very soon and let you know where we get to.  There will be a cost associated with ITOM capabilities but we are looking at tiering the offering so for simple AD Account type interactions there will be a different cost model to that if you were using discovery and software deployment for all of your computer assets.

Sorry, we are a little behind with the wiki documentation here.  Basically, pretty much any 32 or 64 bit windows workstation or server will do it, the Site Integration Server is a quite lightweight so not really much needed. With records to firewall etc... its designed to be plug-and-play, the only requirement is the computer that you install the SIS server application to can reach and see the internet over port 443.  We use HTTPS and Websockets for events and do the connections from your side to our cloud service endpoints, so there are no special firewall rules required other than the ability to reach the internet.
