Jeremy Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 When receiving emails from Service Manager we have found that authorisation emails are coming from noreply, we have managed to find the setting to change the sending email address but we cannot find where to change the Name of the Sender noreply. I have highlighted it in the below image, does anyone know how to change/update this?
ArmandoDM Posted September 26, 2019 Posted September 26, 2019 Hi @Jeremy, I think this should be in the following app-setting: guest.app.requests.notification.emailPrefix Regards armando

Is this hard coded like the emails?
Martyn Houghton Posted September 27, 2019 Posted September 27, 2019 @Jeremy When sending an email from the BPM, there is normally a From Address parameter. If set to Auto, it will use the default email address for the mailbox, but you can override it to use an alternative one. Cheers Martyn
Jeremy Posted September 30, 2019 Author Posted September 30, 2019 Thank you @Martyn Houghton, be I am specifically referring to the email that get sent as part of the auto assigning of authorisation emails. When settings up these nodes there are no settings that can be apparently changed. The nodes that I am referring to is outlined below.
Martyn Houghton Posted September 30, 2019 Posted September 30, 2019 @Jeremy Okay, not sure but I would presume it inherits the from address from the Service's default mailbox and the the default address on the mailbox. Is noreply your default address on the mailbox? Cheers Martyn
Jeremy Posted October 1, 2019 Author Posted October 1, 2019 @Martyn Houghton no we have changed everything that we are aware of to be servicedesk and have removed all references to noreply.
Martyn Houghton Posted October 1, 2019 Posted October 1, 2019 @Jeremy Sound like you covered all the options then. Sounds like it might be hard coded, but I think Hornbill will need to advise. Cheers Martyn
