Alisha
Hello, Is it possible to blank out the 'To' field by default when sending emails from requests, so that it forces the analysts to enter an email address? Sometimes we need to send emails to third parties rather than to the customer so this would be really helpful. Alternatively, is it possible to link the third party to the request so that both the third party and customer contacts appear automatically when composing an email? Many thanks, Alisha
Deen
@Alisha I can't see a way to do this currently unless the customer doesn't have an address, otherwise it will just pull in the one specified.
Alisha
Hi @Deen, Would it be possible to request this as an enhancement please? We have a lot of third parties that we need to email and this would help to prevent emailing the wrong contact. Could the third party be linked to the request so that both the third party and customer contact appear at the same time when creating a new email? Many thanks, Alisha
Adam@Greggs
We'd also like this, but also the option to pre-populate the To field with an address under certain email templates (e.g. a third-party support company)

Alisha
Hi @Deen, Adam's suggestion is a great one and would be something that would benefit us as well. Is that possible please? Also having a blank 'To' field as default, if possible. Many thanks, Alisha
Gemma Morrison
+1 please! this would prevent sending emails to incorrect individuals and would benefit our team a lot!
Deen
Perhaps a system setting to allow the field to be blanked out would suffice. Along with a default address for the templates in the To field. I've tagged it as an enhancement.
