JO_7001 Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 I am suddenly finding that I am unable to run the reports that we generate on a daily basis. I ran the report yesterday without issue but this morning, the Output file is stating "Pending" but I receive the following error in the lower right hand corner: "The specified column 'h_pdf_ref' does not exist in the result set' Any ideas how this can be resolved, I have attempted to create a new report based on the original and I receive the same error. Regards Josh
Victor Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 @JO_7001 we’re looking into this, please bear with us... 1
Steven Cotterell Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Morning folks. Any scheduled daily reports are showing as 'Pending' for us too. Any update or ETA would be appreciated. Thanks.
Victor Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 @all - a fix is on its way, will update with more info shortly... 1
HGrigsby Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Hi Not sure if this is the same error but when trying to publish a revised BPM I get the same error message. Same for any BPM I try to publish Reports seem to be OK though Helen
Clive Broad Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 We are experiencing the same issues - looking out for the forthcoming fix.
Victor Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 @Clive Broad a fix has been deployed few minutes ago, I was about to update this thread. FYI @everyone_else

FYI @everyone_else @Victor, will any scheduled reports that are showing as 'Pending' by re-run so that they then show as 'Completed'? 1
Victor Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 @Steven Cotterell they won't re-run automatically, but they could be run manually once the new build is applied in your instance...
Steven Cotterell Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Just now, Victor said: @Steven Cotterell they won't re-run automatically, but they could be run manually once the new build is applied in your instance... @Victor, looking at the release notes for the release, it doesn't look like this would be fixing anything that was broken in our instance. These reports had been running quite happily for months without issue. The fix states.... Fix Error when running reports referring to an unknown column Error when publishing a business process referring to an unknown column We didn't have any unknown columns in our reports. Confused.
Victor Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 @Steven Cotterell if you navigate to report history to a pending any report and then click on run ID it would throw an error like this: If you get this error on pending report then that was fixed and this is the unknown column the notes are referring to... 1

I need to have a look in the new build but I don't think re-running is necessary. I'll come back to this. 1

They had all been running fine up until this morning.
Victor Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 2 minutes ago, Steven Cotterell said: why is this only now just stopping reports from running? @Steven Cotterell because of ESP build 3116 deployed yesterday... 1
Steven Cotterell Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Thanks @Victor. Will await it's deployment - still showing previous version.
Victor Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 @JO_7001 @Steven Cotterell Your instances should be on the latest ESP build since Friday and the issue resolved. Let me know if otherwise. 1
davidrb84 Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 Hi @Victor yes all good here, thanks for the fix. 1
Steven Cotterell Posted August 12, 2019 Posted August 12, 2019 @Victor, just to close the loop - the reports are working fine now. Thank you and thanks to those that worked on the fix. Much appreciated. 1
