Tina.Lapere Posted August 2, 2019 Posted August 2, 2019 Hi, We'd like to delete a de-activated business process in our system but when doing so we're getting an error saying it's in use by active/suspended calls. We have searched and are unable to find any live calls. Can you advise how we go about finding out what this process is linked to that's active/suspended? Thanks Tina
Gareth Watkins Posted August 6, 2019 Posted August 6, 2019 Hi Tina I have had the same issue today and, after some digging, found that any open calls that use the particular BPM will stop you from deleting the process. In order to delete the process, I had to close all calls that used said business process. After doing this I was able to delete the BPM without any issue.
Gareth Watkins Posted August 6, 2019 Posted August 6, 2019 Just now, Gareth Watkins said: Hi Tina I have had the same issue today and, after some digging, found that any open calls that use the particular BPM will stop you from deleting the process. I've just re-read your ticket and realised you were asking how to locate calls of this type. To do this, I checked the BPM to determine which team we allocated the calls and created a view filtering the matches. Then had to go through them 1 by 1 to identify in order to close/resolve. A bit long winded but the only method I found that worked.
Victor Posted August 6, 2019 Posted August 6, 2019 @Tina.Lapere @Gareth Watkins - a report on requests table (h_itsm_requests) and BP instances table (h_bpm_instance) should give this information...
Tina.Lapere Posted August 8, 2019 Author Posted August 8, 2019 @Victor Thank you. One question as I can't get it to work - What join do I have to setup? Sorry struggling today!
Tina.Lapere Posted August 8, 2019 Author Posted August 8, 2019 @Gareth Watkins Thank you for your help however I've tried looking through them and I can't find one that links :-(
Victor Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 @Tina.Lapere let me build a report config file and I'll come back to you...
