Martyn Houghton
Is there a way with the current LDAP Import Tool (V3.1.5) to associated all users to an organisation without having to match against an imported value? In our case we want to assign all imported users to the a Company organisation unit, so that we can link common services to said company unit. TrevorKillick
@Martyn Houghton The Value [department] can be replaced with the name of the Organisation you want to be added, that way it ignores any imported value and will always match an existing organisation. Kind Regards Trevor Killick
Martyn Houghton
@TrevorKillick Thanks. I give that a try. Cheers Martyn
Martyn Houghton
@TrevorKillick Note having much luck with getting this working, so I might not have understood quite what you meant in terms of the setting. This is what I have currently got set. I have tried the display name and value, but to no avail. Cheers Martyn
Martyn Houghton
@TrevorKillick Any thoughts on why we cannot get to map all users to the Company record? Cheers Martyn
Steve G
Hi @Martyn Houghton, If you clear the "Member Of" field, then all found users should be added to the idoxgroup Company. Cheers, Steve
Martyn Houghton
@Steve G Thanks for you update. I now removed the value in 'Member Of' and now set the 'Value' to the display name of the organisation object rather than the id value. This combination then worked and now I have 700+ members assigned to the Organisation object. Cheers Martyn
