Logan Graham Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 Hi All, Was unsure where I should post this so hopefully this is the correct location. I am wanting to update our LDAP tool as we currently use a very old version where it does not use the inbuilt LDAP data import (think its like 2.0 or something). I was just wondering even though I will be using the -dryrun=true command and it should only be changing one affected user, I just want peace of mind so if all does go to pop i can restore back, would I need to request a backup to be taken before I did any changes or do you guys just work on a schedule with your backups? If so, what time would be best for me to attempt the changes? Thanks, Logan
Victor Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 @Logan Graham why don't you work with us through your configuration to ensure you don't have a need for a backup?
Logan Graham Posted February 6, 2019 Author Posted February 6, 2019 @Victorthat would be even better! Would it be best to arrange a date/time for this with yourselves? Thanks, Logan
Victor Posted February 6, 2019 Posted February 6, 2019 @Logan Graham - if you like we can you can start the configuration and keep this updated with your progress and any queries you might have or, if you want full assistance from Hornbill, you can request a session with a Product Specialist: https://success.hornbill.com/hornbill/
