Joanne Posted January 31, 2019 Posted January 31, 2019 Hi, I'm trying to use the iBridge link document but not sure what i should be putting in the following params:- Application Entity Entity id Can anyone help with this Many Thanks Jo
TrevorHarris Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 The Application is the id of the Hornbill application you want to link to (e.g. com.hornbill.servicemanager for ServiceManager, com.hornbill.customermanager for customer manager etc). The Entity is the name of the thing you want to link to (eg Requests for ServiceManager request, or Organizations for an Organisation) and the Entity Id is the specific Id or reference of the item you are linking to. Hope this helps Thanks Trevor
Joanne Posted February 5, 2019 Author Posted February 5, 2019 Hello, Do you have any examples of this, i keep getting this error - iBridge Method: /Hornbill/Docmanager/Link Document.m Error: SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 1
Joanne Posted February 7, 2019 Author Posted February 7, 2019 is anyone able to help with this Many Thanks Jo
AlexTumber Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 Hi @Joanne, Firstly, I'm sorry to hear your experiencing problems with this. Can I ask, are you having issues with any other iBridge operations or is it just this one that's causing a problem? Alex
Joanne Posted February 13, 2019 Author Posted February 13, 2019 Hello, I have only used this and the azure devops one so far. Many Thanks Jo
Joanne Posted February 14, 2019 Author Posted February 14, 2019 I would be grateful for some help with this Many Thanks Jo
AlexTumber Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 @Joanne if possible, could you make a copy of the business process you are using and remove any sensitive data before exporting and posting it here? There may be something obvious in the config that we can fix. Alex
TrevorHarris Posted February 15, 2019 Posted February 15, 2019 Hi @Joanne , One possible reason I've found for this is if the instance URL you've specified in your Hornbill Credentials is wrong, please make sure this is set in the following format https://eurapi.hornbill.com/<YOURINSTANCE> You will also need to ensure the user whose credentials you are using has access to the document and to the docmanager app More details can be found on the Hornbill Intergration wiki page https://wiki.hornbill.com/index.php/Hornbill_Integration_Bridge Hope this helps Thanks Trevor 1
Joanne Posted February 21, 2019 Author Posted February 21, 2019 This worked, many thanks. Is there anything in the roadmap to allow me to use a dropdown / or search in the prog capture to search for a document based on tags etc. At the moment i intend on using a simple list and put the docid in as a value so i can auto link it, but obviously this will at some point become unmanageable. Many Thanks Jo
