Lauren Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 Hi, I have a couple of queries about using the search function (located at the top of Service Manager window): 1. If searching for a particular error messages, and numerous incidents are returned, is there a way to bulk-link those incidents to a problem/known error? 2. Is there a way to sort the results that are returned? Thanks Lauren
nasimg Posted November 2, 2018 Posted November 2, 2018 Be great to get the results in a request list view - this would help 1) for export 2) sorting (eg. date order) Are there any plans to improve this - I like Lauren's idea of being able to link the results to problem etc Nasim
Lauren Posted January 10, 2019 Author Posted January 10, 2019 Hi @Steven Boardman @Chaz @James Ainsworth Please see above topic posted in November - we would really benefit if the two ideas were taken into consideration. - Some of our major incidents/problems have multiple incidents related to them - linking these on an individual basis takes a lot of time to complete, therefore having the option to bulk link multiple incidents would be helpful. - When searching, it default sorts by date logged (I think). It is useful sometimes to sort by other factors. I look forward to hearing from you Lauren
Lauren Posted April 10, 2019 Author Posted April 10, 2019 Hi @Steven Boardman @James Ainsworth Are there any plans to introduce bulk-linking at all? It would be great to be able to do this from either a request list view (where you check the requests you'd like to link) or via the searching. Thanks LAuren
James Ainsworth Posted April 10, 2019 Posted April 10, 2019 Hi @Lauren We do have a change in our backlog regarding the linking of multiple requests via the multi-select option on the Request List. I already had you on this change. I'll be sure to update this post when it is scheduled and progresses. Regards, James
James Ainsworth Posted April 11, 2019 Posted April 11, 2019 Hi @Martyn Houghton I wasn't sure which of the two requirements you were looking at. I already have you on the change for the bulk linking from this post.
