Assets Security Model

Is there any security model present in relation to Assets, like here is requests/services, or is it just currently based on Asset roles/permissions?

With deploying multiple service desks of different types on a single instance, we would want to have some more organisational/team based visibility and update controls in addition purely having the role based permissions.

the security model on Assets is currently based only on roles and permissions.

I can check with the relevant people if there is any change in the pipeline to enhance the current security model.

Thanks, it would be useful to know if there are going to be more options to secure the Asset records, especially where you are using multi desk or purposes in a single instance.

Asset Management is getting more serious so any form of control would be good

A similar post was raised here.  

We do have a change in the backlog for adding more features around rights and roles on assets.  I'll update this post as it progresses.
