Giuseppe Iannacone
how can i prevent new update on closed request or automatic mail rules being applied to closed requests?
James Ainsworth
Hi @Giuseppe Iannacone We do have this Service Manager setting app.email.routing.rules.allowClosedCallUpdates which should help you with the automatic rules. James Ainsworth
33 minutes ago, Giuseppe Iannacone said: how can i prevent new update on closed request For this requirement, is this the manual update of requests? There is the option of using the Lock feature on the BPM to lock any or all of the action items, however you may have a particular scenario that you are trying to prevent. Documentation here. Let us know if you have a scenario that these don't cover. Regards, James
Giuseppe Iannacone
@James Ainsworth thank you for the reply, I've noted the "automatic rules" setting and it seems to be turned off by default. The other topic refers to a linked request doing updates via BPM to a closed request, I believe we have turned this on by mistake and I would like to turn it off back... but i don't remember where is the setting! James Ainsworth
Hi @Giuseppe Iannacone This will be a particular node in one of your BPM workflows rather than a setting. This operation also has an option to not update closed requests. It will just be a matter of looking at a closed request that has had an update from a linked request, then look at that linked request to see if you can track down the BPM Workflow being used. Hope this helps, James
