Martyn Houghton Posted September 26, 2018 Posted September 26, 2018 After deploying the new service manager build with the new request email view, we are no longer able to access the browser based spell checking features and the right hand click operation is captured by the email editor component. How do you access the browser right hand click operation to get to the spell checker, when editing emails? Cheers Martyn
Guest Chaz Posted September 26, 2018 Posted September 26, 2018 @Martyn Houghton CTRL + Right click is the shortcut you're looking for This is the same behaviour in other areas this text editor is used, such as Document Manager and the dedicated Email view.
Martyn Houghton Posted September 26, 2018 Author Posted September 26, 2018 @Chaz Thanks for the update, had just found that option as well. I presume there is no plans to disable the CKEditor right hand click context menu by default? Cheers Martyn
Guest Chaz Posted September 26, 2018 Posted September 26, 2018 @Martyn Houghton not entirely sure it supports disabling but no plans to disable it as it would then be different in each area it gets used.
nasimg Posted October 24, 2018 Posted October 24, 2018 Internet Explorer allows the spell check (via the CK Editor) to work without Crl + Right Click - but we find IE much slower to use than Chrome. Nasim
HGrigsby Posted October 26, 2018 Posted October 26, 2018 Hi We have found that the spell checker doesn't seem to work at all in Chrome now in service manager, and I've had a few complaints from analysts. Using IE and spell checker is working in updates and email and autocorrecting but in chrome it doesn't work at all. I am sure it did before! Helen
